Physical Description		Nike is a tall, slender woman. Some would say she can be described as "gaunt." She tends to carry herself in a somewhat stoic manner, rarely smiling unless someone has cracked a suitably sarcastic joke. Her short auburn red hair frames her face, and her green eyes pop against her pale skin.

Personality & Traits

General Overview		Nike's personality can be described best as professionalism to the extreme. The foster child of two Vulcan parents, she has learned over the years to calm her emotions sufficiently to not let them affect her while in performance of her duties. She is a driven woman, and will take on increasingly more and more responsibilities if she knows that it will better aid her fellow crew. She has a deep sense of community with any crew she serves with, and will do her best to lend an ear, although it may not always be a sympathetic one.
Strengths & Weaknesses		Nike's strengths lie in her keen ability to multitask, and oversee many various things at the same time. She has received consistent praise from her superior officers for this behavior, and her personnel record states that she is an extremely motivated and capable officer. However, Nike's weaknesses lie in the same area. She can sometimes overburden herself with so many tasks that some will inevitably fall by the wayside. She refuses to delegate until it is absolutely critical to do so, by which point there is little that the poor soul can do except watch as the whole thing fails critically and try to pick up the pieces afterwards. This is not to say that Nike is one to pass the blame to someone else. She will be the first to admit that the situation was entirely her fault, and will own up to her responsibilities.
Ambitions		Ultimately, Nike's ambition is to serve as a senior staff officer aboard a Starfleet ship of the line. She has a great love for the large majestic heavy cruisers, and has always dreamed of wandering their corridors, learning everything she could about the ship, inside and out.
Hobbies & Interests		Nike quite enjoys spending time in the crew lounge, playing chess with her fellow crewmen. Strategy games of any kind are her forte, and she loves learning new ones from new cultures. Aside from this, Nike's interests also lie in classical Earth literature, and she has a first edition copy of the complete works of Victor Hugo that she takes with her to any posting.

Personal History		Nike was born in August of 2361 in the Earth city of Bangor, Maine Nothing is known of her birth parents other than that they put her up for adoption immediately after she was born. She was adopted by a Vulcan couple, and raised with all the love and care that it is possible for a Vulcan to show. Her schooling records were nothing out of the ordinary for a woman of her upbringing, although she performed remarkably well in all science and mathematics areas, while getting just under par marks in languages and arts. In 2380, she enlisted into Starfleet, training as an Operations Crewman, specializing in systems resource allocation. She would serve on the USS Endeavour under her various commanders until 2386, when she was transferred to the USS Polaris as an Operations Specialist on the STAT team.
